LUDA COVID-19 Policy
The first priority of the LUDA commissioners is the health and safety of all people who take part in LUDA events. This means that it's the responsibility of the LUDA commissioners when planning our events to keep the ongoing COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic in mind. We strive to stay informed as to the current COVID-19 situation in Lincoln, Nebraska, the United States, and the rest of the world, and to maintain awareness of the requirements and guidelines currently put in place by the appropriate governmental organizations. Based on all of that information, we develop a COVID-19 Policy for each event that we feel best presents an opportunity to experience the joy of playing ultimate in as safe a manner as reasonably possible.
As of two weeks before Fall League, COVID-19 conditions in Lincoln and Lancaster County are such that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) lists the county as having a "low" community level and the Lancaster County Health Department's risk dial is in the "high moderate (yellow)" range. These conditions, coupled with Fall League being held outdoors, have led the LUDA commissioners to adopt the COVID-19 precautions for Fall League shown below.
However, with the above stated, given that, as history has shown, pandemic conditions can change quite rapidly:
If you have any questions about or feedback on this LUDA COVID-19 Policy, please contact us at at info@lincolnultimate.com.
In addition, please also feel free to contact us if you would like links to information about current local or nationwide COVID-19 conditions, how to pursue getting vaccination and/or booster shots, or anything else related to the COVID-19 pandemic or the decisionmaking behind this LUDA COVID-19 Policy.

These conditions, coupled with Fall League being held outdoors, have led the LUDA commissioners to adopt the COVID-19 precautions for Fall League shown below.
However, with the above stated, given that, as history has shown, pandemic conditions can change quite rapidly:
- The precautions in the LUDA COVID-19 Policy are subject to change, based on revisions to requirements and guidelines put in place by the Lancaster County Health Department, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other appropriate authorities, with the LUDA commissioners reserving the final say in all matters not mandated by authorities.
- While the LUDA commissioners will initially not be asking individuals to provide COVID-19 vaccination documentation, any mid-league updates to the LUDA COVID-19 Policy which involve vaccination status will likely result in the LUDA commissioners requesting that individuals voluntarily provide such documentation.
- Examples of acceptable forms of COVID-19 vaccination documentation are vaccination cards, photos of vaccination cards, and digital vaccination records.
- COVID-19 vaccination documentation can either be shown in-person at league or submitted electronically using an online form.
- The only information that will be recorded regarding COVID-19 vaccination documentation is:
- Player name
- The date the vaccination documentation was shown and to which LUDA commissioner it was shown
- The form of vaccination documentation provided (vaccination card, photo of vaccination card, digital vaccination record, etc.) and whether it was provided in-person or electronically
- The dates on which all vaccination and booster doses were received
- The types of vaccination and booster doses received (Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, etc.)
- Unless a person's vaccination and/or booster status changes, showing COVID-19 vaccination documentation will only be required once.
- In the event of any disputes or discrepancies with provided documentation or information, the LUDA commissioners reserve the right to make all final decisions regarding the situation.
