League Info
  • 5 vs. 5 Coed -- No strict requirement on the number of men and/or women on the field at any given time.  Given the dynamic, subs-on-the-fly nature of Speedpoint, it can be difficult to keep gender match-ups in place without requiring players to stay on the field longer than they'd like to.  Captains and teams shall do their best to ensure balanced playing time and appropriate match-ups for every person on their team.
  • Games are indoors at Speedway Village's indoor fieldhouse (345 Speedway Circle, off of Van Dorn Street from Hwy 77).
  • Water and sports drinks may be brought into the fieldhouse.  Other outside food/drinks (including alcohol) are NOT allowed.
  • Two games per team per night:  at 9:10pm and at 10:10pm.
  • Registration fee is $40 per player.  League dues must be paid by week 3, February 12.  Please contact us at info@lincolnultimate.com if accommodations are needed.
  • If you're a new player, meaning this is the first LUDA league you've played in, dues are only $20 (50% off).
  • If you're currently enrolled at a college or university, dues are only $20 (50% off).
  • Starting on week 3, if a team plays a game and fields a player that has not paid their league dues, that team will forfeit that game 0-30 on the official schedule.
  • Captains recognizing unpaid players on their team or on another team should bring up the situation with a LUDA commissioner or with the other team's captain.
  • Substitutions:  teams may bring subs to fill out their rosters, i.e., to replace absent team members that have already paid their dues.
  • Subs not replacing absent team members must be willing to, at the discretion of the LUDA commissioners, be moved to other teams to ensure balanced play.

Gameplay
  • Cleats (or at least athletic shoes) are recommended.  Cleats are allowed in the Speedway Village indoor fieldhouse.  However, players shall wear separate shoes while entering the facility so as to not bring in moisture and debris that can damage the turf field.
  • Games are to 30 points with no win-by-two rule. Halftime at 15.
  • Each game has a hard time cap of 50 minutes, with a 5-minute warning issued at 45 minutes.  No soft time cap.
  • Time cap is strictly enforced, but ties are not permitted:  the last point will always be allowed to complete, including any necessary follow-up universe point.
  • No pull after points are scored:  the opposing team takes the disc where the point was scored (or brings it up to the goal line) and resumes play immediately.
  • Substitutions are made on the fly from mid-field, with a high-five occurring before the sub can come on the field.
  • Stall count is only for 8 counts (not the normal 10).  Players shall start counting at 3, ending as normal at 10.
  • Two timeouts per team per game.  Substitutions may be made by each team freely during the timeout.
  • Fields will be approximately 22 yards wide and 60 yards long (40 yards proper and 10-yard endzones).
  • Additional details of Speedpoint are described at the bottom of this page.
  • When determining playoff brackets, seeds are determined using overall league win-loss record.  The tiebreaker used will be head-to-head record (followed by head-to-head point differential).
  • All other USA Ultimate 11th Edition Rules apply.
