LUDA Fall Draft League 2012

League will be held at 2pm-5pm on Sundays from September 2 - October 21 (8 weeks)
Draft Info
  • Individual and handcuff registration only.
  • Captains will draft teams on Friday, August 31.  NOTE - this is not a "blind draft", instead captains may choose who they wish.
  • Teams will be announced on Saturday, September 1st.  You will receive an email with team information

League Info
  • 7 v 7 CoEd - guy / girl ratio will be determined after teams are drafted.
  • Games will be held at UNL East Campus (unless we can get UNL Fleming Fields).
  • 2 games per team per day, at 2:00pm and 3:30pm
  • Registration fee is $30/player, and covers field rentals, swag (TBD), and the after-party.  Due Sept 16.
  • Players must be 16 years of age or older.  Younger players will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  Contact us for more details.
  • Dogs are allowed on the fields.  Drugs and alcohol are not.

Game Play
  • Cleats or athletic shoes recommended. 
  • Teams will have team colors - your captain will contact you with jersey color and more information by September 1st.
  • Carbon flip dictates choice of possession or side: team with fewest players who drove to league gets first choice (carpoolers count as .5).
  • Games are to 15 soft cap, 17 hard cap.  Halftime at 8.
  • Time capped at 80 minutes.
  • 1 timeout per team, per half, plus one floater.
  • All other USA Ultimate 11th edition rules apply.

Parking is available in the lots to the west of the fields and along East Campus Loop (purple lines).  Parking is free on the weekends.
