Congratulations to the Barefoot Bandits on winning Nebraskionals 2010!
Nebraskionals 2010: Barefoot Bandits, Pius Pancakes, Sweet Justice, and Tim Hoarty. And Hoarty's dog. And Ryan Mullen.
Saturday, May 15th saw three Nebraska high school ultimate teams square off for the chance to earn bragging rights for the next year: The Pius Pancakes (Pius X HS in Lincoln), Barefoot Bandits (Central and Creighton Prep HSs in Omaha), and Sweet Justice (Westide HS in Omaha).
Pius and Sweet Justice faced off in game one, and after an intense back-and-forth battle all the way to universe point, Pius pulled off a monster upset. Pius had the Bandits to deal in game 2, and the latter outlasted the former to take the win. After an exhausting battle with Pius, the Bandits were given the unenviable task of playing a hungry Sweet Justice squad. In the second surprising upset of the day, SJ fell to the Bandits.

Pius Pancakes - 1-1
