2011 Winter League is here!

Games are on Thursday evenings at Abbott Sports Complex (7600 North 70th Street) at 9pm starting January 19th.
League Info
  • LUDA Winter League is CO-ED with a 4-1 gender ratio for game play (4 guys, 1 girl per team on the field)
  • League lasts 6 weeks
  • Registration fee is $40/player, and covers field rentals only (the indoor fields are more expensive than last year).

Game Play (5v5 Speedpoint)
  • NO CLEATS - Shoes only.
  • 5 players per team on the field at a time.
  • Once a goal is scored, the team with the disc sets the disc down in the endzone, and the other team picks it up to initiate play.
  • Sub-ins are on-the-fly at midfield.
  • Games are to 40 minutes, hard cap.  
  • Injury timeouts only.  No other timeouts allowed.
  • Halftime whistle will be blown at 20 minutes.  After the next point, teams have 2 minutes to rest before they must return to their lines.
  • Stall count to 8.
  • No Brick Mark - Bricks are to be taken at the goal line in the middle of the field.
  • If the disc hits the ceiling, it is considered a turnover at the spot directly below the contact point.
  • For the Basketball Court - If the disc hits a hoop or backboard, it is in play.
  • For the Indoor Soccer Field - players can catch the disc off the wall or net.  If the disc gets stuck in the net, it is a turnover.
  • All other USA Ultimate 11th edition rules apply
