The Lincoln Ultimate Disc Association (LUDA) is a group dedicated to promoting the sport of Ultimate Frisbee, especially as it pertains to the Lincoln, Nebraska area. Our goal is not just to nurture the growth of Ultimate, but to nurture it correctly. Because Ultimate is a self-governing sport, meaning there are no referees and that players call the fouls as they occur, it demands a certain set of values from the players such as positivity, respect, honesty, and integrity. Therefore, LUDA is focused on promoting competitive Ultimate centered around these values.
LUDA hosts three seasonal leagues per year in Lincoln (spring, summer, and fall) as well the annual LollapaLUDA hat tournament every November. We also maintain strong relationships with local Ultimate pickup groups as well as local club teams, including Fire At The Circus, UNL's Cornfed, UNL's Cuddle Raptors, Silage, Rigor Mortis, and Sweet Justice.
